Attendance Policy Poor attendance is a leading reason for termination from a job in all areas of employment. With this factor in mind, the instructor monitors student attendance daily. In addition, attendance on a regular basis is necessary for proper skill development. This includes attendance/participation in weekly online activities since this is an online course.

All late assignments will be assessed a 30% penalty. No late work is allowed beyond one week after it is due.

Students are responsible for completing all assigned homework and for being prepared for each class.

Please note: There are NO makeups for quizzes or exams. If a student misses an exam, their lowest test grade (excluding the final exam) will count twice. If more than one exam is missed, those exams will be given a grade of zero.
Academic Honesty Academic honesty is expected from all students, and dishonesty in any form will not be tolerated. Please consult the LSC-PA policies (Section IX, subsection A, in the Faculty Handbook) for consequences of academic dishonesty.
